Women in surveying

Countrywide has been focused on creating higher diversity within our surveying business, particularly Women in Surveying.

Since we began the initiative, we have seen a great increase in the number of women joining our surveying business. The numbers have grown organically, from women who already work within the business but in different roles, as well as from our internal graduate programmes.

We have collaborated with external partners and suppliers of surveying diplomas and qualifications to assist us in driving this initiative forward, and our own recruitment team have been working with our women surveyors to understand what they love about the role, so that we can better understand how to attract and retain the best women talent in the industry.

We are committed to our Women in Surveying initiative as part of our alliance to the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Inclusive Employer Quality Mark (IEQM). We aim to connect women in the surveying business and ensure that they have a support network that delivers feedback to our central teams about their experience.
